2022-2023 PROGRAM GUIDE WINTER SUPPLEMENT Hello Girl Scout! Goal-getters everywhere are gearing up for the Girl Scout Cookie Program, and a new season of Girl Scout adventures is right around the corner! From a starlit snowshoe in the Cascade Range to cozy indoor pie making in Portland or Medford, there’s something new waiting for you this winter. As you practice life and leadership skills this cookie season, remember that you’re also earning funds that you can use to power your Girl Scout experience all year long! Explore the guide to find your next can’t-miss-it winter adventure and sign up beginning December 1 at 9 a.m.! Beyond the events in this guide, you can schedule your own fun and try out new activities at times that are convenient for you! Check out the Plan Your Own Activities list and start planning new adventures today. This list is your source for GSOSW program partners who offer opportunities designed just for Girl Scouts! Not sure how it works? It’s easy! Find an activity you like from the list and use the information provided to connect with the Girl Scout program partner. And just like that, you are learning about pets with your local animal shelter, practicing knots and climbing a rock wall, or cooking up a healthy meal while earning a badge! You will start by attending a planetarium show and uncovering some of the mysteries in the night sky. Learn about the parts of a sewing machine and practice using it. During this three-day workshop you will get to collaborate with NASA and other scientists to improve the environment, then discover and connect about leadership and the role of media in our lives. You will never look at branches on a tree or scales on a cone in the same way again! A week at day camp is spent outside in nature, making new friends, singing camp songs, and having fun! With outdoor activities like fire building, orienteering, knife safety, cooking, and games, there’s something for everyone. Some camps even offer an optional overnight!
